I realise my user name needs changing, initially I joined to advertise my site but then decided to join properly. I have PMed a member of staff requesting for it to be changed to Lumi.

Reaching the top of the peak at last, Lumi panted lightly, the land stretching ahead before her. Ice blue eyes surveyed the land ahead critically. For a great distance all that could be seen was dirt, there was no greenery, little water. It had taken long enough to scale the peak in the first place, and now she faced this?
We face this, Lumi. Her Daemon thought to her, a reassuring note to his 'voice'. Slowly she nodded, looking back at the small cat. I know Ajax, it's just... She floundered for a moment, Well, look at it! Why are we here, little one? The ocelot padded ahead, rubbing himself against her leg as he passed, brushing against the bangle on her ankle as he did so. Turning his head, he fixed intelligent brown eyes on her own. Because we need a home, Luminescence. After all, what is a warrior with no one to protect?
The she-wolf nodded again. He was right, she knew that, of course. But still; she really did have no idea what had driven her here. Surely this wasn't the only direction in which other wolves lay? Why had she decided that this was the right way? Sighing, she hung her head slightly, padding after the little striped cat as he descended the peak. The past was lost to her now, maybe this was where she had been heading before those memories were lost? She must have had a good reason for it, that she would be insistent on continuing in this direction, even through starvation and dehydration. Frowning, she wondered what could have been so important, but the wall was back. Clearly it was lucky Ajax had chosen that time to find her, she mused, lifting her head and moving up to trot beside him, rather than lagging behind as she had been doing.
The cat turned his head to look at her and smiled, pleased she had shaken off her glum mood, but understanding it. She had lost everything, in a very real sense and he felt the pain that that caused her. Shifting his brown eyes to look back across the dead, empty land, he gave a small sigh. Well Lumi, lets get this over with.
"Lumi speaks!" Lumi thinks! Ajax thinks!
